Do you want a Cambridge Pride parade in the centre? We need your help.

The Announcement was aired yesterday at 8:30PM.

Cambridge might have the first pride parade in the city centre! In the past few months, Cambridge Pride has been planning to have a parade in the city centre for the first time. This has been a huge undertaking, due to the necessary permission and procedures needed to close roads, divert traffic and ensure safety. It’s ALMOST done.

BUT there’s still a few hoops to jump through in the next 2 weeks. There’s no full “go ahead” yet, because this will also depend on the attendance. And this is where YOU can help. The (possible) city parade will tart at 12noon on Saturday the 15th of June.

Cambridge Pride has committed, in case the plan won’t go ahead, to have the usual and fabulous parade in the part ANYWAY, and they will try again next year.

Not every Pride organisation is so open and honest with the public, it’s now our turn to play our part. Please register your interest now.
