Hi Everyone, I’m Mat, a stage tech turned talker who somehow got on the other side of a microphone! In my younger days, I’ve spent many hours behind the scenes making sure shows sparkle, and that they sound great too. I’m proud to have brought Rotherham Pride back to life, helping it grow into an award-winning celebration that picked up the Community Achievement Award right here in Rotherham and was shortlisted for a National ‘Pride of the Year’ Award in early 2025.

I can often be found hosting local charity events and I made my radio debut on 13 October 2024. Now I’m bringing my cheeky Yorkshire charm, quick wit, and love for the LGBTQ+ community to GlitterBeam. Expect laughs, good vibes, and maybe a few stories I probably shouldn’t share on air , but will anyway!
