Whether you are a Meryl Streep super-fan or simply know her as the actress from Mamma Mia, this show will have you chuckling from start to finish.
I See Me & Meryl Streep has had sell out runs all across Australia and has now finally made it to the UK for its 10th Anniversary at The Other Palace Theatre in London.
This heartwarming show is told through the eyes of a young Meryl Streep fan, Meryl, who is struggling her way through her teenage years but has big time movie star, Meryl Streep, there to support her along the way.
It, of course, has all of your favourite iconic lines from some of her best movies along with some gorgeous vocal performances of songs she has performed over the years, including a beautiful rendition of The Winner Takes It All from Mamma Mia.
Writer and Performer, Alexandra Keddie, as Meryl was absolutely sublime with her spot on impressions of monologues from Streeps movies including of course the famous cerulean sweater speech from Devil Wears Prada which was a huge highlight for me. Her Meryl was SPOT ON!
Alex is supported by two wonderful actresses, Katelin Koprivec and Charlotte MacInnes, who add to the humour and help her along the way and also a brilliant technical and creative team that all added to the production value, making it a really strong piece of comedy theatre.
