The Cage The Elephant Dying In Reverse UK tour will bring the American rock band back to Britain for six shows in February and March 2027, ending with a major night at London’s Alexandra Palace. Announced on 7 September, the dates form the closing stretch of a 15-show European run and arrive as the band begins introducing music from its forthcoming seventh studio album.

The UK leg starts at DEPOT in Cardiff on 22 February, followed by O2 Academy Leeds on 23 February, O2 Academy Glasgow on 25 February and O2 Academy Birmingham on 26 February. The band then heads to Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse on 28 February before finishing the tour in the Great Hall at Alexandra Palace on 1 March.

A return to UK stages

The shows will be Cage The Elephant’s first UK and European dates since 2025, when their itinerary included two sold-out performances at London’s O2 Academy Brixton. This time, the London finale moves to the considerably larger Alexandra Palace setting.

The venue has independently confirmed the 1 March date and identifies it as part of the band’s UK and European Dying In Reverse Tour. Doors for the London show are listed for 6.30pm, with the event carrying a 16-plus age restriction.

Frontman Matt Shultz said the band was excited to return to Europe and the UK, adding that audiences here had always embraced them and that they were looking forward to playing the new songs.

Dying In Reverse points towards new music

The tour title is also the name of Cage The Elephant’s next single. “Dying In Reverse” is due for release on 10 September and is being presented as the second song from the group’s forthcoming seventh studio album.

It follows “Beaches In Tennessee”, released in August as the band’s first new music in two years. Alexandra Palace’s official listing confirms that both tracks belong to the next album campaign, although a title, complete track list and release date for the record have not yet been announced.

Before reaching Britain, Cage The Elephant will play dates in Berlin, Kraków, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Milan, Lausanne and Paris. The European leg opens at Berlin’s Tempodrom on 8 February and reaches Paris on 20 February before the six British dates begin.

The confirmed UK dates are Cardiff on 22 February, Leeds on 23 February, Glasgow on 25 February, Birmingham on 26 February, Manchester on 28 February and London on 1 March.

General ticket sales are scheduled for Friday 11 September at 10am local time. Presale arrangements vary by market and venue; Alexandra Palace currently lists its presale for Thursday 10 September at 10am, so fans should use the relevant official venue or ticketing information for the date they want rather than assuming every presale follows the same timetable.

A busy new chapter for Cage The Elephant

The Kentucky band’s most recent studio album, Neon Pill, arrived in 2024. Since then, they have continued touring at arena and stadium scale, including dates as special guests on the North American leg of Oasis’s 2025 tour.

Shultz has described the period that followed as creatively energising for the group. Speaking around the new tour announcement, he said the Oasis run had encouraged the band to keep pushing itself as a live act and that they went back into the studio rather than taking an extended break.

For UK audiences, the result is now a clearly defined return: six cities in eight days, a London finale at Alexandra Palace and new material arriving before tickets reach general sale.
