Kings of Leon Announce 2027 London O2 Show as O My Beloved Era Grows

Kings of Leon are heading back to London, with the band confirming a major show at The O2 for Friday 2 July 2027.
The Kings of Leon O2 2027 concert will form part of the venue’s 20th anniversary celebrations and will be the band’s only UK arena appearance on their O My Beloved Summer 2027 tour.
The O2 has confirmed the July date and 6.30pm doors, with general ticket sales opening at 9.30am on Friday 9 October.
Kings of Leon return to London
The show will be Kings of Leon’s first London concert since their run at Hyde Park in 2024.
Although The O2 is currently the only UK arena included in the Summer 2027 schedule, that does not mean it will be the band’s only British appearance next year.
Official Charts reports that two outdoor shows in northern England are also being planned, with further details expected later in October.
That makes the London announcement the beginning of the UK picture rather than necessarily the complete itinerary.
Fans who pre-order the new album through the band’s official store before 2.59pm on Tuesday 6 October will receive access to a ticket presale beginning at 9.30am on Wednesday 7 October.
New album O My Beloved arrives in November
The tour announcement comes as Kings of Leon prepare to release their tenth studio album, O My Beloved, on 6 November 2026.
The 13-track record is particularly significant because it is the first Kings of Leon studio album the band have produced entirely themselves.
On the official Kings of Leon store, Caleb Followill describes the album as emotional and as a love letter to family, with the songs exploring gratitude, relationships and the history shared by the four members.
The album contains “My Whole World”, “Cold Blue Dawn”, “The Hand”, “Rose”, “Make It Count”, “KOYSAR”, “Feel The Love”, “Blue Jeans and Diamonds”, “Warm Company”, “Forever Endeavor”, “Pretty Thing” and “Get You Down”, alongside a short opening track titled “Intro”.
Cold Blue Dawn gets an unusual visual treatment
Recent single “Cold Blue Dawn” has also received one of the more unusual lyric videos of the year.
The band worked with The Weather Channel on a visual built around satellite imagery, using landscapes, rivers, coastlines and mountains to form words from the song.
The collaboration uses imagery from NASA’s Landsat programme and grew out of an earlier viral Weather Channel clip that had featured the Kings of Leon song “Pyro”.
It gives the new album campaign a very different visual identity from the straightforward performance videos normally associated with rock releases.
A band with an unusually strong UK history
Kings of Leon have always had a particularly strong relationship with British audiences.
The Tennessee band, made up of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill alongside their cousin Matthew, first broke through strongly in the UK before becoming stadium-level stars internationally.
Their catalogue includes “Molly’s Chambers”, “The Bucket”, “Fans”, “Sex on Fire”, “Use Somebody”, “Notion”, “Radioactive” and “Supersoaker”.
Official Charts records six UK Number One albums for Kings of Leon, while “Sex on Fire” remains their only UK Number One single.
O My Beloved now gives them the opportunity to add a tenth studio album to that history.
When do Kings of Leon O2 tickets go on sale?
Album pre-order presale access begins on Wednesday 7 October at 9.30am.
The main general sale opens on Friday 9 October at 9.30am, with AXS handling official ticket sales for The O2 show.
The Kings of Leon O2 2027 concert takes place on 2 July, several months after O My Beloved arrives.
And with two additional northern England shows still to be announced, the band’s return to the UK looks set to become considerably bigger than one night in London.
