Nickelback Announce Huge 2027 UK Arena Tour With Don Broco
Nickelback are returning to the UK for a major arena tour in 2027, with five shows confirmed across England and Scotland and Don Broco joining them as special guests.
The Nickelback 2027 UK tour forms part of the enormous Everything Under The Sun Tour, supporting the Canadian band’s forthcoming eleventh studio album of the same name.
According to Live Nation’s official tour announcement, the global run begins in North America in February before reaching the UK in May and continuing across Europe and Australia.
Nickelback 2027 UK tour dates
The UK leg currently includes five arena concerts:
- 22 May 2027: First Direct Bank Arena, Leeds
- 25 May 2027: The O2, London
- 28 May 2027: Utilita Arena Birmingham
- 1 June 2027: OVO Hydro, Glasgow
- 2 June 2027: Co-op Live, Manchester
The tour also includes a Dublin show at 3Arena on 30 May before continuing into mainland Europe.
Official Charts confirms that the UK and European leg begins in Leeds on 22 May, with shows continuing through cities including Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne, Munich, Milan, Vienna, Prague and Copenhagen.
Don Broco will support the UK dates
British rock band Don Broco will join Nickelback as direct support throughout the UK and European run.
The pairing is not completely unexpected.
Nickelback recently collaborated with Don Broco on “Nightmare Tripping”, the title track from the Bedford band’s latest album, creating a connection between the two acts before the tour was announced.
The O2 confirms Don Broco as special guests for the London show on 25 May, with the same pairing appearing across the other UK arena listings.
Don Broco have built a substantial audience of their own, including a UK Number One album with Amazing Things in 2021.
Everything Under The Sun arrives later this month
The tour is built around Nickelback’s new album, Everything Under The Sun, which will be released on 30 October 2026.
The record becomes their eleventh studio album and follows 2022’s Get Rollin’.
The official Nickelback store confirms the 30 October release date, with the album available across CD, vinyl, cassette and several limited editions.
New material already released from the project includes “Rattle The Cage”, featuring John 5, alongside “Leave Me Behind” and “Make Me Love You”.
The album campaign also follows the huge success of Nickelback’s previous world tour, which the band says became the fastest-selling and highest-attended tour of their career.
Nickelback return after years of being pop culture’s favourite punchline
Nickelback’s longevity has always been slightly unusual.
The band became enormously commercially successful through songs including “How You Remind Me”, “Photograph”, “Rockstar”, “Far Away” and “Someday”, while simultaneously becoming one of the internet’s favourite targets for jokes about mainstream rock music.
In recent years, the band have increasingly embraced that reputation rather than fighting it.
The Netflix documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback explored both their commercial success and the intense backlash they experienced at the height of their fame.
The O2 notes that Nickelback have sold nearly 65 million albums worldwide, while their catalogue continues to generate billions of streams.
Those numbers explain why the jokes have never stopped them filling arenas.
When do Nickelback UK tickets go on sale?
Artist presales begin from Tuesday 13 October at 10am, with venue and partner presales following during the week.
The main general sale opens at 10am on Friday 16 October.
For London, The O2 confirms that tickets for the 25 May show go on general sale at 10am on 16 October.
Ticketmaster listings for Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester show the same general sale time, although individual venue presales vary.
The Nickelback 2027 UK tour begins in Leeds on 22 May and finishes in Manchester on 2 June before the band continues across Europe.
More than two decades after “How You Remind Me” made them one of the biggest rock bands in the world, Nickelback are still doing the thing the internet jokes never managed to stop: selling very large numbers of tickets.
