The Jinkxx & DeLa Holiday Show – Our Review

Imagine that classic tradition with A Christmas Carol by James Dickens. Now, forget it.

Jinkxx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme are back with their new holiday show. We have been lucky enough to be at the Palladium in London for the opening night. The Jinkxx & DeLa Holiday Show is the most delightful and refreshing thing you’ll watch this Christmas.

The story is simple but effective: Jinkxx & DeLa reflect on 2022, and try to solve all our issues by fixing something that CLEARLY has gone wrong in the past. A perfect opportunity to travel through decades with amazing dresses, hilarious songs parodies, and a subtle reflection on how Christmas shows have changed through years.

BenDeLaCreme is still delightfully herself. DeLa is behind the show, 360 degrees, and its evident. DeLa knows E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G happening on the stage and behind the stage. The writing is clearly showing her influence and her style.

Jinkxx is the powerhouse you know and you expect to be. A STUNNING voice, powerful like very few, ready to improvise when necessary (if someone in the stall shouts something to make a joke).

Jinkxx & DeLa in 2 hours make fun of everything we know about Christmas, leaving you still loving the holidays.

Particular mention for Jinkxx explaining Christmas traditions and how they are traceable in Pagan history. We loved it and we were very happy to hear it on stage.

We are not going to spoil the show for you, but when in the end, Jinkxx performs with DeLa the last song of the show (an original song, available on all the streaming services), no other words or songs were needed. Two amazing talents were standing on a stage in front of us; and even they told us, after, how they were each others best friend, we have seen them looking in each other’s eyes, and we already knew.
